1. Data You Create
DepthCaptureApp captures and stores data you create on your device, including RGB images, depth maps, depth preview images or videos, point-cloud-related data, camera calibration values, capture settings, frame metadata, and optional motion data in MCAP recordings.
These files are saved locally in the app's Documents area. The app does not upload captured files to a server operated by us.
2. Camera, Depth, and Motion Access
The app uses the camera, LiDAR, TrueDepth, and motion sensors to provide capture, recording, preview, and export features. Sensor data is processed on the device for these features.
3. Files and Sharing
You can access, export, or share saved files through iOS file sharing or system share features. Once you share or transfer files outside the app, handling depends on the destination service or recipient.
4. Purchases
The app uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and purchase restoration. Apple processes purchase-related data under Apple's privacy policy. The app reads verified purchase entitlements to unlock features.
5. Advertising and Consent
The app uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Google may collect or process identifiers, device information, ad interaction data, approximate location inferred from network data, diagnostics, and other data for ads, consent management, fraud prevention, analytics, or related purposes.
Where required, the app shows Google's consent or privacy options form. You can change eligible ad privacy choices from the app's privacy options entry when available.
6. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect
We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, health data, or uploaded capture files through our own server.
7. Retention and Deletion
Captured files remain on your device until you delete them in the app, remove them through iOS file management, or uninstall the app. Advertising and purchase providers retain data according to their own policies.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children. Do not use the app where collecting or processing sensor, advertising, or purchase data would require parental consent that has not been obtained.
9. Third-Party Policies
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date shows the latest version date.
11. Contact
For privacy questions, contact the app developer through the support channel listed on the App Store product page.
